How do I setup a seasonal calendar?

1.
Be sure you are
logged in.
2.
Choose the menu
option (Owners/My Listings).
3.
From the ‘My
Listings’ screen choose ‘Seasonal Calendar’ from the left hand menu list.
4. Select the year for the calendar year you want to
create.
a. Each year
will have a separate calendar – using the same calendar name.
b. You need to
create the calendar for each year.
Calendars can be created for any number of years, but normally only a
current and next year calendar is required.
c. To create
the same calendar name for another year, simply change the year, then re-select
the same name from the drop down list of existing names
for
each year you want to create.

(As a reminder about calendar names,
1. The names assigned
in your “Property Information” only include the calendar name - not the
year. So, you want to stay with the
calendar name entered in your property information, you just want to create a
new year.
2. As time moves
forward, the remainder of the current year and the following year information
will be displayed if the calendar for the next year is created.)
5.
New Calendar
Name:
a.
Enter a New
Calendar Name ( one you have not already
used ) to create a new calendar.
b. If you want to modify an existing one, leave the ‘New
Calendar Name:’ blank: then choose from beneath the
a name
in the drop down list of existing calendar names
.
(You may create as many calendar names as you
need, with each having different seasonal dates. Each property is assigned its own calendar
name, which may be changed at any time.)
6. Choose
the
button
to save your changes and proceed to the next page. The seasonal calendar
will appear on the next page with the selected name and year shown at the top
middle. (see below for a calendar image).
7.
Select from the
drop down list the SEASON code for which you desire to establish beginning and
ending dates.
8.
Enter the
beginning and ending dates for the season code selected. The dates must be within the year
selected. By example, if the calendar
year is for 2008, do not select a date range that includes 2007 beginning or
2009 ending dates.
9.
When the
dates are entered as desired, choose
. The
calendar will be saved and displayed with the new dates properly color
highlighted.
A small help calendar will appear in both date fields to assist you in
entering dates.

When all seasons are defined,
choose the Done
button.
This completes the seasonal calendar.
Your next and remaining step
will be to enter the rates for each season for a specific property. This is done in the property information
section – (Owners/ My Listings/ Edit Listings/ Edit Rates) - or at the time of initially entering a new
property. One seasonal calendar can
serve an unlimited number of properties if the High, Medium, Low, and Special seasons fall on the same
dates for all the properties. If they do
not match the dates, set up additional calendar names.

do I setup a property Rate Table?
Overview:
Calendars are created to define
to the renter which dates are considered high, low, medium or special
rates. The calendar name is then
assigned to as many properties as desired.
Within each property the rates
for the various seasons, weekends, days, and turn days are defined so that they
can change per property.
