Explaining Destinations!

Page – Destinations

(How do I get here?)

The Destination information assigned by an owner/manager to their property is a simple way to identify the property with …

1.     a general location or

2.     specific attraction or

3.     activity

…that renters want to vacation near.  The destination names can offer property viewing across many cities, states or countries.  For example, if a property has the Destination name ‘Yellowstone’, Just Perfect Rentals could show properties that are located in many different states or cities that are convenient to Yellowstone; which would otherwise be tedious to find by searching on each possible combination of state and city that serves this National Park.

You can easily choose a destination from the list provided by other property owners, or you may add a new one that better suits your property.  Anytime a new destination is entered, it becomes available for others to use.

Before you select or add a new destination - consider the following!

1.     A destination is in effect a key word.  Renters are allowed to search for properties based on destination names that have been created by owner/managers. Renters cannot add a destination – they use only the ones you created to define your property – which is more than just searching for a specific state or city.

2.     You may enter a number of destination names, but each must be separated by a comma.  By the same token, anytime a comma is used Perfect Place Rentals assumes that a specific destination code is intended on each side of the comma. Example: “Sun Valley CA, Universal Studios, CA” would provide your property with three different key words for renters to use.

3.     You might enter a destination such as ‘Snow Skiing’ which is really more of an activity, but renters might be interested in viewing all properties that offer this type of activity – regardless of the state or city in which the property is located.

4.     Using an existing destination helps you identify your property with other destination words used by other owner/managers.

Just Perfect Rentals reserves the right to edit destinations.

1.     Just Perfect Rentals makes regular checks on the destination name list to adjust and/or remove offensive entries.

2.     If two destinations entered which are exact in meaning but different in spelling, Just Perfect Rentals will adjust both to a common name.  As an example, if “Fort Smith”, “Ft. Smith” and “Ft Smith” (no period after Ft) are entered, Just Perfect Rentals will convert them to a single destination name and adjust your property information accordingly.  This will help eliminate confusion by the renter as a result of repeated options.

3.     If you enter a comment like “Great free day of fishing!” we will change that to something like, “Fishing Salt Water” and “Fl” if your property is located in Florida – or whichever coastal state the property is located in.
